I honestly almost forgot about this blog, shame on me!! haha

It's been a busy new year, busy in a good way. This month I finished a remix for 'The Story About Love' I hope to get that get signed but you can't stop while you wait!

So I've signed up to a couple more remix contest's including a whopper from Moguai (who happens to be signed to Deadmau5's label: Mau5trap), for his song NYCE. I can't wait to get started on that one. But in the mean time I've been keeping busy working on two new Bootlegs, the first one will be up real soon, it's just a fun lil club remix - I figure with all the radio/club play that the Black Eyed Peas single "I Gotta Feeling" has got this past 12 mths, no one wants to really wants to hear that...But I really like what Mr. Guetta did with the original beat. So with the help of the samples provided for their remix competition held back a couple months ago I came up with a nice lil hybrid remix mixed with the Swedish House Mafia's hit single 'Leave The World Behind"...

The Second bootleg is top secret but I hope to have a preview up next week..

What's going on folks...

Been busy juggling my jobs this week... working on music while lookign for good trades (Day Trader by day)... and it's got me pulled in all sorta directions. But the show must go on... and progression must be made. That being said, here is my latest upload (I say this because the remix isn't my newest but I had to wait to post this sucker). The song is called 'House Hit' by AndT - The sounds in this song are right up my alley, strong synths - and a whole lotta different ways to beef up the bassline. Well last bootleg I put out was my Axwell vs East & Young bootleg for Reveal... The overall reaction has been decent on it but I marked that as my last rework for the year as I needed some time to reflect and gain creativity for the new year.

It's been a couple weeks and I was barely able to contain myself to be honest, but I got a couple new pieces im workin on now and here is a mash-up I just completed for fun.. it's called Watch the Strobe and its a mash-up between "Watch the Sunrise" by Axwell and "Strobe" by Deadmau5... Not for sWaZy, I thought that I was done working on new material for the year but creativity has no schedule and rarely takes vacation. So when I got this idea for a booty, I couldn't just not do it... could I? What's good everyone?

I hope well, it's Tuesday so for me that means my day to push out a new remix or track. This week I've been busting out alot of my progressive house material. There's been some heavy hits this past year, two of my favorites being from one guy Dirty South, the first is We Are... it's been remixed to oblivion and it still rocks. The second is with Swedish House Mafia don Sebastian Ingrosso titled Meich. Now when I think of progressive House, booming with just the right synth and bass... this is the song that comes to mind. Now every time I would hear 'We Are's vocals I could always hear them over a much more pronounced beat... something like Meich... So this mash-up booty came very naturally.. I jazzed it up just a bit .. I hope I hear this one ringing in the clubs..

What's going on everyone... Been a rough week so far after the rowdiness last Saturday @ the Pub's Mardi Gras Party, thanks to everyone who came out and partied hard. So with my nose back to the grindstone I got another new Bootleg (with a companion Video to go with it). This time im going back to my roots with a remix of Pitbull's Summer smash hit 'Calle Ocho'. I felt the beat could use a lil house backing so I blessed it with a taste of Fedde Le Grand's classic 'Let Me Think About it'. The results are what I would call probably my best club vibed smash-up to date. Im hoping everyone enjoys this remix cuz after all, the people are the reason I enjoy making music so much.

I got a nice 'Deadmau5' themed original song in the works that I hope to get out by November and of course next week I will be putting out 2 Remixes of an Untitled Sander Van Doorn track, which I just might need your help to decide which to drop for the worldwide competiton i've entered in. What's Going on everyone, well today is new music Tuesday and I've got a nice new release lined up for later in the day of my newest remix - ROYKSOPP's 'Tricky Tricky'... it's closer to a rework than a remix... very conservative to the original mix...just with a sWaZy twist... but for right now I wanna push one of my earlier Mash-Up Remixes... that being Major Lazer vs Chocolate Puma - Keep It Goin' Louder (sWaZy's eLeCtRiQue Bootleg). I got a lil excited for the new remix but didn't wanna push it out at Midnight so insted I put together a lil gangsta greezy ghetto video for the Major Lazer remix, in honor of them killing it in Montreal last weekend... sWaZy is back at it again, this time it's another Mash-up (or should I call it a Mau5 up?). After last Friday's epic live show by Toronto native Deadmau5 - I felt really inspired to get my ass back to making stellar tunes. So I've couped myself up in my studio to get started on some remixes and mash-ups. I'm happy to say that I have 2 brand new Remixes for contests that are near to completion and I'm really excited to submit them and see how I fair. In between those original works I've been on my mash-up grind working on a new David Guetta mash-up and the one I'm shamelessly promoting now.. Deadmau5 vs Himself (sWaZy style)

What's going on... well with the remix for Steve Angello's Tivoli done and ready to be critiqued by a panel of house heads... I thought it would be best to keep the momentum rolling and find some more work to do... Enter: 1am this morning, I found my way to getting two more remix packs (3 technically buuuut I'm focusing on 2 of them for now. The first is Zoot Woman´s upcoming release "We Wont Break" from the upcoming Zoot Woman Album. It's an interesting electro/rock tune which I'm gonna bring the electro and make it rock. The second is another new artist to me, his name is Blumenkraft with his new single 'Skinny B!tch' which is right up my alley. Both of these remixes should be completed and made available by the end of the month... sWaZy out..

Afternoon folks, and welcome to my personal blog, Waking up sWaZy (kinda a play on words to waking up crazy). Some of you might be wondering what differences will this blog have from Bounce Radio (Blog/TV) ? Well the simple answer is….about every differnece possible.

Up until now, my blogs have focuses on either shamelessly promoting my own mixes or promoting new up and coming producers with very sick tracks. This isn’t going to be a blog like that with the exception of maybe posting some random really good old songs I might be jamming to while posting. This blog is gonna be about what’s going on in the life of sWaZy aka me. I wanna give the listeners a chance to get to know what I do and how I roll on a day to day basis….now I’m available on this new Twitter business (@PhatSwazy) but I can never find myself able to update my on goings in 140 characters or less, I mean, you gotta be updating your snacks for that….so I started this….in hopes that I can maybe sell a movie script off it haha naah its all for love…

So as my first post winds to a close…as I have to get my week rolling (@ 4pm Monday lol) I’ll leave you with these words……..
