April 2010: New Music !!

I honestly almost forgot about this blog, shame on me!! haha

It's been a busy new year, busy in a good way. This month I finished a remix for 'The Story About Love' I hope to get that get signed but you can't stop while you wait!

So I've signed up to a couple more remix contest's including a whopper from Moguai (who happens to be signed to Deadmau5's label: Mau5trap), for his song NYCE. I can't wait to get started on that one. But in the mean time I've been keeping busy working on two new Bootlegs, the first one will be up real soon, it's just a fun lil club remix - I figure with all the radio/club play that the Black Eyed Peas single "I Gotta Feeling" has got this past 12 mths, no one wants to really wants to hear that...But I really like what Mr. Guetta did with the original beat. So with the help of the samples provided for their remix competition held back a couple months ago I came up with a nice lil hybrid remix mixed with the Swedish House Mafia's hit single 'Leave The World Behind"...

The Second bootleg is top secret but I hope to have a preview up next week..

What's going on folks...

Been busy juggling my jobs this week... working on music while lookign for good trades (Day Trader by day)... and it's got me pulled in all sorta directions. But the show must go on... and progression must be made. That being said, here is my latest upload (I say this because the remix isn't my newest but I had to wait to post this sucker). The song is called 'House Hit' by AndT - The sounds in this song are right up my alley, strong synths - and a whole lotta different ways to beef up the bassline. I added my own lil flair on the drums and kicks... I hope you all enjoy.. this may be the last remix you hear for a lil while lol, gotta get back into studio lockdown ... Enjoy it everyone..

Whats going on Phat Fans...

Well last bootleg I put out was my Axwell vs East & Young bootleg for Reveal... The overall reaction has been decent on it but I marked that as my last rework for the year as I needed some time to reflect and gain creativity for the new year.

It's been a couple weeks and I was barely able to contain myself to be honest, but I got a couple new pieces im workin on now and here is a mash-up I just completed for fun.. it's called Watch the Strobe and its a mash-up between "Watch the Sunrise" by Axwell and "Strobe" by Deadmau5...
