Wow, the year is already wraping up to a close... and what a year it has been. From Dirrty Dancin' to bootlegs to Top 25 remixes this has been an amazing year for Phat sWaZy...I can only hope 2010 holds more of the same.

I wanna take some time to thank everyone who takes the time to listen to my music and enjoy it. It means the world to me and I hope to bring Phat sWaZy on the world stage in 2010.

It's begining to look alot like Christmas here in Montreal and with the holidays comes some well deserved time off right? Not for sWaZy, I thought that I was done working on new material for the year but creativity has no schedule and rarely takes vacation. So when I got this idea for a booty, I couldn't just not do it... could I? This mix is a blend of East & Young's new single 'Reveal' with the 2008 smash from Axwell & Dirty South ' Open your Heart ' giving the title of the remix 'Reveal Your Heart' im guessing this should be the last of the year but who knows... expect a new Dirrty Dancin' this weekend and possibly sometime after Christmas.. Happy Holidays!!

Chris Laroche, coming out of Paris, France, has been pushing out some heavy hits this year. One of those hits features another producer/dj hailing out of France, Xantra (hit up his myspace) and the resulting piece of music is dubbed 'Disco Resurrection'. The original (available on their respective Myspace pages) is a melodic electric house beat with heavy synths combined with nice bass and drums. Phat sWaZy has taken the challenge of remixign this new single for an upcoming competition, and he is going to 'bring back the dead' with this one. Lacing the original samples with heavy kicks and jungle themed drum loops, sWaZy hopes to raise the judges opinions as well... enjoy

I'm also working on another mix, this one is a bit more commercial, and it features alot of the hottest tracks from 2009. I'd estimate it being done for this weekend but could be out as early as tonight (Tues)

Weekend Warriors: New Mix, Same old sWaZy

Well its another weekend, So that means 2 things: First off it means a brand spanking new episode of my long running series of mixes Dirrty Dancin'. This weeks Mix is themed Progressive, now I know not every jam on this mix would be considered progressive house, but I feel like its a good blend of energy and build up.. I hope you enjoy it as well.

Second thing you can expect with the weekend is catching myself spinning LIVE on the island of Montreal @ The Pub (St Annes). Ill be spinnin' from 11pm - 3am and you know ill be killing it on the dace floor... So if your in the area come check me out. What's good everyone?

I hope well, it's Tuesday so for me that means my day to push out a new remix or track. This week I've been busting out alot of my progressive house material. There's been some heavy hits this past year, two of my favorites being from one guy Dirty South, the first is We Are... it's been remixed to oblivion and it still rocks. The second is with Swedish House Mafia don Sebastian Ingrosso titled Meich. Now when I think of progressive House, booming with just the right synth and bass... this is the song that comes to mind. Now every time I would hear 'We Are's vocals I could always hear them over a much more pronounced beat... something like Meich... So this mash-up booty came very naturally.. I jazzed it up just a bit .. I hope I hear this one ringing in the clubs..

I'm trying to find the words 2 describe this mix, but im not being so successful... New Music Tuesday !

.... so after putting the finishing touches on my Pitbull remix earlier today (Monday) I was outside doing some clean up outside .. and this mix kept bumpin in my head, so I put on my trusty iPhone and put on the two seperate parts of this mix and 'in my head' it sounded like butter...
